The Bonner Community Fellowship (BCF) is a 4-year developmental program that provides students with opportunities to advance social justice through experiential learning opportunities and critical reflection. Students in the BCF will learn about ways to consider the intersections of power and privilege in community engagement while identifying paths to address the issues that matter most. Programming for the BCF Pre-Orientation may include cohort-building activities, workshops about civic engagement and positionality, and exploring different parts of Providence. 

The BCF Pre-Orientation program is open only to Incoming Bonner Fellows.

Applications for the BCF are open to all students in the class of 2027, including rising sophomores in a BRDD program. Applications are open between May 15 and June 15.  The application is available here: https://ufunds.brown.edu/grant/bonner-community-fellowship
