Moving In
Details about moving into your campus residence — including specific check-in times and locations — will be communicated to you in email and posted on the Residential Life Fall Opening page in summer 2026. First year move-in takes place on September 2, 2026!
Students participating in pre-orientation programs or on certain athletic teams will move in before September 2, and will receive information from those programs.
The Campus Bookstore
Have questions about your computer, notebooks, or textbooks? The Bookstore is the place for you! located at 244 Thayer St, it houses all of your day to day campus needs. For Frequently Asked Questions about textbooks please visit the Brown textbook site. The Bookstore also has a recommendation section you have questions about purchasing a Mac or PC. You will receive your individual mailbox number in early August. After receiving this information, you can ship mail and packages using this format:
