Jeanus Canlapan
Bruno FellowHey! My name is Jeanus-Luc Canlapan, and I'm part of the class of 2027! I'm studying Biomedical Engineering, and I'm from Phillipsburg, New Jersey.
Ask me about: Campus life, the Filipino Alliance, studying biomedical/bioengineering, or anything else!
Fun Fact: I was named after Jean-Luc Picard, a Star Trek character.
Favorite NSO Event: Ice Cram Social & Orientation Dance.
Color Team: As one of the Bruno Fellows on the Red Team, I handle the promotion of our events and outreach to first years alongside our other fellow, Chris!
I'm really eager to help make this year's orientation an amazing experience!

Avery Espiritu (he/him)
Bruno FellowHello! My name is Avery Espiritu! I am a member of the class of 2027 studying Applied Math-Computer Science, and I am from East Hanover, New Jersey.
Ask me about: Shopping classes, the computer science concentration, theater and acting opportunities, or anything in between!
Fun Facts: I am a former professional child actor, I have over 1000 hours in the Sims 4, and I am a huge Survivor fan!
Favorite NSO Event: Ice Cream Social.
Color Team: I’m a Bruno Fellow on the Brown team alongside Akshat, where we lead Bruno Leader recruitment, internal communications, and Bruno Leader training.
Outside of my classes, I spend much of my time involved in student theater, performing in many shows across campus, and being chair of the board for Musical Forum, a student theater group that produces musicals! I am also on the internal events committee for Filipino Alliance!

- Fun Facts: I will attempt any recipe thrown my way, I took a gap year before coming to Brown, and I’m extremely good at Just Dance.
