Undergraduate Orientation

Hi! My name is Ivy and I am a rising junior who transferred from Haverford College in Fall 2025. I am concentrating in Applied Mathematics-Economics, and I am considering a certificate in American Sign Language. Outside of the classroom, I am a company member of What's on Tap?, Brown's tap dance company, and I am one of the Directors of Community Outreach for Partnership for Adult Learning. Last semester, I also participated in the Applied Mathematics Department's reading program. My best piece of advise for incoming TRUE students is to take advantage of the Open Curriculum! Make the most of your few years at Brown and try out a couple interesting classes during your time here (even if it's just for the shopping period)!
