Undergraduate Orientation

Welcome to Brown! My name is Jackie Haining—I will be a senior this fall concentrating in Slavic Studies. I am most passionate about languages/language learning and would love to exchange any and all etymological fun facts you have in mind! In addition to TRUE, I have also been involved in Russian Speakers@Brown and played autoharp in CHIME (Brown's Irish folk band). Outside of school, I enjoy translating poetry, reading about international politics, and playing guitar.

My advice for incoming transfers is to try a language class! They are all such close-knit communities and give students amazing insights into new parts of the world!
