Undergraduate Orientation

Hey everyone! My name is Jessica, and I am a RUE student from Huntington Beach, CA that is double-concentrating in Linguistics and Psychology. Prior to coming to Brown, I was a competitive figure skater on Team USA and spent seven years after high school touring with Disney on Ice! Outside of the classroom (and in addition to being a TRUE Peer Advisor), I work as a campus tour guide and am involved in a bunch of extracurricular activities on campus! Here are some of my favorites: I am the President of the Resumed Undergraduate Student Association, Copy Chief for post- Magazine, chief copy editor for the Brown Noser, and members of both the figure skating club and Brown Cheerleading team (go Bears!).

My biggest piece of advice for incoming TRUEs is to take advantage of every event and opportunity — especially during Orientation! Orientation is full of so many fun and informative events, and is also the place to get to know the awesome members of our community!
