Undergraduate Orientation

Hi! My name is Zoe and I study Architecture. I transferred in Spring 2024 from Pitzer College.  Some of my on-campus activities include playing for CoRays (Cosmic Rays [one of Brown's five frisbee teams!]), performing with Hansori (the Brown/RISD traditional Korean drumming group), and leading trips with the Brown Outing Club. While I study Architecture, I have enjoyed coursework in the Modern Culture and Media, Visual Arts, and Urban Studies departments. During my free time I enjoy walking to Fox Point for a little treat and finding a nice nook to knit in or going to the movies at one of Providence's many theaters. When it comes to transferring to Brown, I think its important to remember that you really can do whatever you want here. That does not mean that everything is given to you, and you might really have to search or fight for what you want, but regardless, this education is ultimately to benefit your and your needs. As a TRUE advisor, I hope to help advocate and be there for you as you explore the possibilities.
