Undergraduate Orientation

Hey! I'm Ashley, a spring 2024 transfer from UC San Diego, but my home is New Jersey. I'm double concentrating in Computer Science and Cognitive Neuroscience, focusing on their overlap in Neurotechnology. On campus, I'm involved in the Corays Frisbee team, Club Field Hockey, Brown Outing Club, and I recently joined the Brown Alzheimer's Activists and the Machine Intelligence Community. Outside of school, I love hiking state and national parks, baking brownies, playing with my three dogs, sailing, and trying new coffee shops (I'm always looking for recommendations!).

My advice to future TRUE students is to be confident in asking anyone you meet to grab lunch. Everyone here is so friendly, and I think the best way to meet other students is to be bold and get involved in various activities around campus. I promise little by little, Brown will start to feel more like home :) Please reach out if you have any questions at all - I can't wait to meet everyone!
