Undergraduate Orientation

Hi! My name is Izzy, I'm from Boston and China, and I study International and Public Affairs on the Policy and Governance track. Some of my activities at Brown include editing for the Journal of World Affairs, volunteering with a student legal clinic, doing research for the History/East Asian Studies Department, and A Cappella. Reach out if you have questions about getting involved in any of those! One piece of advice I would offer is that while being a TRUE is not always easy, do remember to embrace and take advantage of your experience before transferring to Brown. You introduce fresh perspectives to this campus by just being you, and that could help you find opportunities and get involved.
