Undergraduate Orientation

Hi! My name is Meredith Jenkins, and I'm a rising junior here at Brown concentrating in Mathematics-Computer Science while being on a pre-med track. Outside of academics, I'm a proud member of the trumpet section of the Brown Band, so you'll see me playing fun shows at football games, on the ice at hockey games (yes, we ice skate!), and more. I also play trumpet in the Brown Wind Symphony, which is another great group of talented musicians at Brown.

I am so excited to meet you all, and I hope you love Brown every bit as much as I do! I would encourage spontaneity more than anything while you're here - if you see a club or event that sounds new and exciting, try it! I went to a lot of really cool club meetings this year and was even able to go on a ski trip with the Outing Club, so you never know what will happen!
